Trevor and the crew are getting ready to leave for Black Star's Great American Road Trip across the Pacific Northwest. The Great American Road Trip is an epic documentary journey to uncover traditional, timeless, original and authentic stories that represent the spirit of Black Star Beer.

Trevor and Ashley drive 12 hours from Klamath, OR to Whitefish, MT. They meet up with Marcus at the Great Northern for a Black Star beer. Although the Great American Road Trip has unofficially begun, the film crew from New York arrive tomorrow.

Trevor and Ashley meet up with the NY film crew. They load up in Whitefish and enjoy an evening with folks from the Great Northern Brewing Company. Tomorrow is an early morning drive to Helena, Montana to meet up with a real American cowboy.

The Great American Road Trip heads to Helena, Montana through the Bob Marshall Wilderness. They meet a cowboy named Mike and his family to learn about ranching and the cowboy way of life.

It is day two with the Beattie family in Helena, Montana. Trevor continues to learn about ranching and roping cattle. They celebrate Alissa's birthday with wings and Black Star Beer.

The Great American Road Trip is in Great Falls, Montana to meet the oldest man in the world, Walter Breuning. After a fun and inspiring conversation with Walter, the crew decides to buy cowboy boots at Hoglunds before heading back to Whitefish.

Heading west, The Great American Road Trip takes a detour in Idaho so Ashley can shoot her first rifle. After a week in the country, the crew enjoys their first night in a big city, the city that "spawned grunge", Seattle, Washington.

In Seattle, WA, the Great American Road Trip visits with the wonderful, high energy, old time, novelty music playing Canote brothers. Greg and Jere Canote share their passion for music with the crew and host a jam session at Dusty Strings Music Store.

The Great American Road Trip has an amazing day driving through Puget Sound and hanging out with Marlin Holden, a Native American fisherman from the S'klallam Tribe in Jamestown. They cook fresh caught clams and crab right there on the beach. What a day.

The crew arrive in Portland, Oregon to meet Jeff & Kelly from Vintage Roadside. They check out some amazing places around Portland of iconic and preserved landmarks.
